April 5 (Easter), April 6 (Easter Monday), April 23 (St. George, Patron Saint of Ferrara), April 25 (Liberation Day) May 1 (Labor Day), June 1-2 (Republic Day), August 15 (August bank holiday), November 1 (All Saints Day), December 7-8 (Immaculate Conception), December 26 (Boxing Day).

The Museum can also be visited, by reservation, outside the usual opening hours. There is a one-time fee for special visits of €12 per person, plus any organizational costs. The service is reserved for groups of at least 25 participants and must be booked at least 7 working days in advance by writing to arteantica@comune.fe.it
