On Oct. 17, 18 and 19, Monumenti Aperti, the event that leads to the discovery of places of interest, both historical and architectural, thanks to free tours exceptionally led by students from the city’s Primary and Secondary Schools, returns to Ferrara.
THE SITES.
Friday, October 17
From 6 to 10:30 pm, Museo Schifanoia, Palazzina Marfisa d’Este and Palazzo Bonacossi will be open free of charge to all citizens, visitors, enthusiasts and the curious with guided tours led by young pupils of Ferrara schools.
Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19
On Saturday 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Sunday 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., you can discover or rediscover the temple of San Cristoforo alla Certosa through free guided tours. This is a unique opportunity to be told about the history and art of this extraordinary place of worship, in the heart of Ferrara, through the curious and prepared gaze of the youngest.
On all days of the event, entry to the monuments is for a limited number of visitors, about every 15 minutes. Last entry 30 minutes before the monument closes.
