Easter holidays 2025: museums open!

The civic museums and Castello Estense will remain open throughout the Easter season-an unmissable opportunity to discover art and history in Ferrara

Extraordinary opening of Ferrara museums during the Easter holidays 2025

From April 20 (Easter Day) until and including Sunday, May 4, 2025, the museums of the City of Ferrara will be open to the public without observing the usual weekly closing days.

Here are the details of the special openings:

Museo Schifanoia, Civic Lapidary, Museo della Cattedrale, Spazio Antonioni e Casa Ariosto: will also be open Monday, April 21, Friday, April 25, Monday, April 28, and Thursday, May 1.

Castello Estense: will also be open on Tuesday, April 22, Friday, April 25, Tuesday, April 29, and Thursday, May 1. For more information: www.castelloestense.it

The Alphonse Mucha / Giovanni Boldini exhibition at Palazzo dei Diamanti will also be open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (box office closes at 6:30 p.m.). Find out about the exhibition at Palazzo dei Diamanti.
