Now in its 19th edition and organized in collaboration with UDI – Unione Donne in Italia, the Women’s Biennial continues to explore women’s creativity in different fields: five international artists – Mónica De Miranda, Christina Kubisch, Diana Lelonek, Ragna Róbertsdóttir and Anaïs Tondeur – investigate through different media the highly topical issue of the complex coexistence between human beings and nature, of life on a planet exploited and disrupted by climate change. Through installations, photographs, sculptures and videos, the artists involved delve into the ongoing ecological debate, the consequences on the community, and the need to rethink established practices in the economic, political and social fields.
